Terms and Conditions
Photography Consent:
By hiring Nathan Sixsmith Photography you are consenting to be photographed by Nathan Sixsmith of Nathan Sixsmith Photography.
Disclaimer:
Nathan Sixsmith Photography does not tolerate malicious trolling or obscene language on its Facebook, Instagram, Twitter pages and advises that any posts suspected of trolling or containing inappropriate language will be removed, and the contributor banned from any future posting.
Booking Deposit:
All bookings require a $200 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking date. Deposits are deducted from the final payment. All bookings must make the final payment one week before the event. In the event that the booking is cancelled by the booking party, $200 of the deposit will not be refunded. In the event that Nathan Sixsmith Photography cancels 100% of the deposit will be refunded.
Deposits for all events are due ASAP. The remaining payment is required 1 week before the event.

Payment Options:
Payments can be made via Bank transfer or PayPal. Payments details for Bank transfer will be provided on the invoice. Paypal will incur a surcharge of extra fee 2.6% + $0.30 for paypal.

Public Holidays:
Public holiday surcharge is $165 on top of any booking.
Delivery of Images:
All clients, for all sessions are offered the free option of receiving digital downloads of their purchased images via Dropbox or the Nathan Sixsmith Photography Website. USB's containing purchased digital images can be provided at an additional fee $60(including postage). There is no USB fee for wedding bookings, unless extra USB's are requested. Please allow 2-4 weeks for the delivery of USB’s unless it can be dropped off.
Online Uploading:
Unless it is clearly stated that the client does not want the photographs from their event or session put online (Facebook, Website, Instagram, Twitter etc), all photos deemed appropriate and of high quality that have been photographed by Nathan Sixsmith Photography may be uploaded onto social media for promotional use.
Marketing & Promotion:
Nathan Sixsmith Photography may reproduce images from a client's session for their own marketing, advertising, promotion and exhibition, both internally and external. Nathan Sixsmith Photography respects if a client wishes to have their photographs strictly private, please inform me before or at the session.
Copyright and Image Ownership:
Photos taken by Nathan Sixsmith Photography therefore belong to Nathan Sixsmith Photography. Nevertheless, you are able to use Nathan Sixsmith Photography images for personal uses within digital limits. This includes saving them as digital files, sharing/liking/making them your profile picture and tagging them on Facebook. However, Nathan Sixsmith Photography would highly appreciate it if you could keep/try not to crop off the Nathan Sixsmith Photography watermark on the images as keeping it on helps to promote Nathan Sixsmith Photography services. However with this said, it is not first-hand issue- just a polite gesture. Nathan Sixsmith Photography photos are not to be used for commercial purposes without agreement and permission.
Material Photographed:
Nathan Sixsmith Photography is not liable for anything that is photographed. Nathan Sixsmith Photography is happy too and will delete any doubtful photographs/photographs requested to be removed. Any photos that a third party may see as disorderly should contact Nathan Sixsmith Photography via the Facebook Message application with the photo linked in the message so it can be viewed and deleted. No link = No delete. These involve but are not restricted to the following- under age drinking, drugs, nudity and damage to property. Delete/Removal requests will be completed as soon as possible, however Nathan Sixsmith Photography asks you allow some time for requested images to be removed.
Quantity/Quality:
Nathan Sixsmith Photography takes a high number of photographs to ensure that they’re of the utmost quality. Nathan Sixsmith Photography under no situation will upload all the photos taken at an event/session. If a photograph is not uploaded, it no longer exists. Please do not request for photographs that have not been uploaded/provided.
Safety:
Nathan Sixsmith Photography has the right to leave a booking at any time, without any advanced notice to their client due to safety and security reasons. This is due to the welfare of Nathan Sixsmith Photography as well as the equipment that is used. If Nathan Sixsmith Photography equipment fails due to technical faults made by your guests such as liquid being spilt on a camera and failure to continue taking photos occurs, refunds will not be made out to the client.
Travel Fee:
Travel fees depend on the location of the event. Please enquire via the contact page.
Additional Costs:
Travel and Accommodation are required to be covered by the client.
Privacy:
All information contained through booking messages will remain strictly confidential to Nathan Sixsmith Photography. No information will be given out to other parties without the client’s knowledge and permission.
