Elopement or Micro Wedding, What's the Difference?
A lot of couples use "elopement" loosely, even when they've got 10 to 20 guests coming along. Here's a quick way to tell the two apart.
An elopement is just the two of you, a celebrant, and two witnesses. Some couples invite up to a maximum of 4–6 VIP guests, like parents or best friends, no reception to plan around.
A micro wedding still looks like a wedding, ceremony, photos, maybe a small dinner, just with more people than an elopement allows. Guest count typically sits between 15 and 40. More than a handful of VIPs and you're likely planning a micro wedding rather than an elopement.

$900, Monday to Thursday

Notice of Intended Marriage (NOI): you'll need to lodge an NOI with your celebrant at least one month before your wedding date. Your celebrant can confirm the exact requirements for your date.
Need a witness? I'm happy to sign as a witness for your ceremony. Just let me know ahead of time so it's arranged before the day.
Locations
Margaret River, Dunsborough and Yallingup are popular choices for elopements and micro weddings, vineyards, beaches and forest settings all within easy reach. Bunbury and Busselton work well too if you want something closer to home.
Coverage runs from Mandurah through the South West to Perth, Swan Valley and Fremantle. Mandurah and Margaret River are fee-free, a $150 travel fee applies north of the river in Perth and Swan Valley.
