What Happens Next

Thanks for booking me for your wedding. Here is everything you need to know between now and your big day.

Your Engagement or Family Shoot

If you've added an engagement or family shoot to your package, this needs to happen before your wedding day. It's best done before the six week mark, and it's also a great chance for us to chat about how you're picturing your wedding day.

Your Timeline

Around six weeks before your wedding I will be in touch to start planning your timeline. We will work through ceremony time, when you are getting ready, how long to allow for family and group photos, couple portraits and golden hour timing.

If you have also hired the photo booth, this is when I will get in touch about your custom photo strip design.

I have put together a Wedding Day Timeline Guide with a free planner you can download and fill in. Once it is done, you can send it to all of your suppliers so everyone is on the same page. It makes the whole day run smoother when your celebrant, DJ, coordinator and venue all have the same timeline in front of them.

What I Need from You Before the Day

To make sure nothing gets missed, here is what I will need from you in the lead up to your wedding:

Your ceremony start time and venue address.

Where you are getting ready and roughly what time.

Your family and group photo list. I have a Shot List Guide you can use as a starting point. If you need a more detailed family photo list, just ask and I will send one through.

Any must-have moments or specific shots you want captured.

Contact details for your key vendors: celebrant, videographer, DJ or MC, coordinator, and hair and makeup artist. It is good to know who I am working with on the day, and it means I can tag them when sharing photos on social media.

You do not need to have all of this sorted straight away. Most of it comes together naturally in the weeks before your wedding, and I will prompt you for anything that is missing.

Getting in Touch

The best way to reach me is by email. I will always get back to you within 24 hours, usually sooner.

I am always happy to jump on a call if you would rather chat things through.
