Fremantle is one of the most iconic wedding destinations in Western Australia, and one of my favourite places to photograph.

Freo has a character and energy that's completely unique. Historic limestone buildings, cobblestone laneways, the beautiful Bathers Beach foreshore and some of WA's most distinctive venues make it a genuinely spectacular place to get married. Whatever time of year, whatever the weather, Fremantle always delivers.
I've photographed weddings in Fremantle at Kidogo Arthouse, Bathers Beach House, the Fremantle Marriage Office, the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges, Fremantle Prison, Tradewinds Hotel and COAST Port Beach, as well as couples shoots around the city. It's a place I know well and always enjoy shooting in.

My style is natural and relaxed with a mix of traditional and documentary photography. Real moments, real emotions and yes, the occasional forced smile from a family member. Being in front of a camera is awkward for most people and I completely get that. I do my best to make it less awkward and a lot more fun.
Travel to Fremantle is included at no additional cost.
Where permitted, I also use a drone to capture aerial photos of your wedding venue and surrounds. Fremantle's coastline, the Port Beach dunes, the Swan River and the city's rooftops look spectacular from the air. Drone use is subject to CASA regulations, location restrictions and property owner approval.

I've been recognised as a Top 10 Wedding Photographer in Western Australia at the Wedding Industry Awards four years running (2022 to 2025), named #2 Highly Commended at the 2026 Wedding Industry Awards WA, and hold an Easy Weddings 5-Star Supplier rating for 2026.

Fremantle is home to some of WA's most unique and characterful wedding venues. Here are some of the venues I'm available to shoot at:
Waterfront and Beach Venues
Bathers Beach House is Perth's only absolute beachfront restaurant, bar and function space, sitting right on the sand at Bathers Beach with floor-to-ceiling windows and 180 degree views over the Indian Ocean. COAST Port Beach in North Fremantle is a stunning beachfront venue right on the dunes of Port Beach with panoramic Indian Ocean views, an expansive deck and a relaxed coastal atmosphere.

Arts and Heritage Venues
Kidogo Arthouse is one of WA's most unique and characterful venues, a converted 1896 limestone boatshed sitting right on the Bathers Beach foreshore. With exposed stone walls, timber beams and an intimate atmosphere it's a favourite for couples wanting something genuinely different. Fremantle Prison is a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site and one of the most dramatic and distinctive wedding venues in Australia. The convict-built limestone walls, historic chapel and striking grounds make for extraordinary photography.

Ceremony Venues
The Fremantle Marriage Office is a beautifully presented ceremony venue in the heart of Fremantle, offering an intimate and elegant setting for couples wanting a simple, meaningful ceremony without a large venue booking.

Hotels and Function Venues
The Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges is one of Fremantle's most iconic hotels, with multiple function spaces, beautiful gardens and a prime location in the heart of the city. Tradewinds Hotel in East Fremantle offers sweeping Swan River views, a rooftop terrace and multiple function spaces overlooking the water.

Fremantle is within my standard coverage area and there is no travel fee for couples getting married there.
