Dwellingup is one of those hidden gem wedding destinations that doesn't get nearly enough attention, and that's exactly what makes it so special. Nestled in the heart of the jarrah forest, Dwellingup offers couples something truly unique: towering trees, lush bush settings, rustic charm and a genuine sense of being away from it all. It's the kind of place where the natural surroundings do all the heavy lifting and every photo has something extraordinary in the background.

I'm based in Bunbury and travel to the Dwellingup area for weddings. Whether it's a bush ceremony under the jarrah trees, a rustic farm wedding or an intimate gathering in the forest, I love working in natural, outdoor settings and Dwellingup has them in abundance.
My approach is natural and relaxed. No stiff poses, no awkward directions. Just genuine moments, beautiful light and photos you'll love looking back on for the rest of your lives. I'll help with your timeline, keep the day running smoothly and make sure you both feel completely at ease from start to finish.
Travel to Dwellingup is included at no additional cost.
Where permitted, I also use a drone to capture aerial photos of your wedding venue and surrounds. The jarrah forest canopy, river valleys and open farmland around Dwellingup make for extraordinary aerial photography. Drone use is subject to CASA regulations, location restrictions and property owner approval.

I've been recognised as a Top 10 Wedding Photographer in Western Australia at the Wedding Industry Awards four years running (2022 to 2025), named #2 Highly Commended at the 2026 Wedding Industry Awards WA, and hold an Easy Weddings 5-Star Supplier rating for 2026.
If you're planning a wedding in Dwellingup and you're looking for a photographer, I'd love to hear about your day. Get in touch and let's talk.
Dwellingup and the surrounding Peel region are home to some of WA's most unique and naturally beautiful wedding venues. Here are some of the venues I'm available to shoot at:
Bush and Forest Venues
Jarrahfall Bush Camp is one of WA's only all-inclusive bush wedding venues, set in the serene jarrah forest of Dwellingup with on-site accommodation for up to 150 guests. Multiple ceremony and reception spaces are available within the property, all surrounded by towering jarrah trees and natural bushland.

Noble River Estate is a peaceful 34-acre property set among towering jarrah forest with six cosy chalets and a rustic country lodge. Perfect for DIY weddings, retreats and intimate celebrations in a stunning natural setting with the Murray River running through the property.

Winery Venues
Redgum Wine Estate is a boutique French country style winery on the edge of the Darling Escarpment near Dwellingup. Sweeping views over the Marrinup State Forest, an intimate capacity of up to 80 guests and a cellar door and restaurant on site make it one of the region's most charming and distinctive wedding venues.

Bush Camp and Retreat Venues
Nanga Bush Camp is a sprawling bush camp and retreat on the banks of the Murray River in Dwellingup. With multiple accommodation options, open fire pits, river access and a genuine sense of adventure, it's a fantastic option for couples wanting a relaxed, festival-style wedding in the bush.

Dwellingup is within my standard coverage area and there is no travel fee for couples getting married there.
