Nanga Bush Camp Wedding Photographer, Timbarra Dwellingup

Timbarra at Nanga Bush Camp is one of the South West's most striking bush wedding venues, a soaring jarrah timber hall set deep in the forest at Dwellingup, and it was the setting for Christy and Tyson's wedding this past spring.

A Family Affair

I'd actually photographed Christy's sister's wedding before this one, so it was lovely being back with the family for another celebration. Christy and Tyson already had two kids together, a boy and a girl, before tying the knot, and the whole day had that warm, established family feel running through it.

Getting Ready and Celebrating at Timbarra

With four bridesmaids and four groomsmen, there was plenty of energy in the lead up to the ceremony. Timbarra's cathedral-style hall and uninterrupted forest valley views made for a stunning ceremony and reception space, and with great weather on the day, we made the most of the surrounding jarrah forest for portraits too. My approach was to keep things chill and fun for Christy, Tyson and their wedding party, and that easy energy carried right through the day.
