Taya and Ray were married at Quarry Farm in Whitby, with Lisa Webb as their celebrant. The two met online, and their day was full of nerves, happiness and one very well kept secret.
Ray got ready at home, and Taya got ready at Avocados Accommodation. Both were nervous in the lead up, which is no surprise on a day this big.
Taya had arranged a surprise for Ray. She organised for his grandchildren to be at the wedding as a secret present. When Ray saw the kids and Taya, he shed a tear, and it was one of those moments that reminds you why the day matters.
Lisa Webb led the ceremony in the sheep shearing shed at Quarry Farm. It’s a rustic, characterful setting, and Taya and Ray were married surrounded by the people closest to them.
After the ceremony we took portraits of Taya and Ray around the property, making the most of the farm setting.
Taya and Ray booked the 10 hour package, which gave plenty of time to cover the day without rushing. That meant space for the quieter moments as well as the big ones.
“Nathan captured moments of our day that you don’t realise because it all goes so fast. His pics really hit you emotionally when you first view them, not only because you have the wow I’m really married moment, but because his pics are raw and really show the love you have for each other perfectly. We are extremely happy with our lifetime memories Nathan captured.”
