Kimia and Nick, Kidogo Arthouse Fremantle

Fremantle on a beautiful day is hard to beat, and last weekend it delivered.

Getting ready and the venue

Kimia got ready at an Airbnb in Fremantle before heading to Kidogo Arthouse for one of the most unique and characterful wedding venues in Western Australia. Sitting right on the Bathers Beach foreshore, Kidogo Arthouse combines historic limestone architecture with stunning Indian Ocean views, a genuinely special place to get married.

A first look and private vows

Before the ceremony Kimia and Nick took a moment just for themselves, a first look and private vows away from their guests. It's one of my favourite parts of a wedding day to photograph. No audience, no pressure, just two people completely present with each other. For Kimia and Nick it was a beautiful and intimate moment that set the tone for the whole day.

From there we explored Fremantle for their couple portraits, historic laneways, limestone walls, the waterfront, Freo has no shortage of incredible backdrops and we made the most of every one of them.

The weather was absolutely perfect. That bright Fremantle sunshine, the blue of the Indian Ocean behind them, it all came together beautifully.
